Our teen programs provide culturally grounded, trauma-informed mental health support tailored to the unique developmental needs of newcomer and Jewish adolescents in Ontario. We create safe spaces where teens can build resilience, explore identity, and connect with peers who share similar experiences.
who is it for
Newcomers and immigrants individuals and families ages 12–19 living in Greater Toronto who are navigating adolescence while managing the added complexities of cultural identity, community trauma, and adjustment challenges.
Our Approach
We use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches with a strong commitment to safeguarding and youth development. All services are available in English and Hebrew, with virtual and in-person options in the GTA. Our therapists understand the unique challenges and developmental of teens, and develop creative approaches to create connection and trust that are the foundation of healing through therapy.

Services are provided on an individual or group basis based on program availability and client's needs.
how does it work?
Access to care is determined through a triage process that takes into account both the urgency of clinical needs and each client’s financial situation. Following this process, clients are matched with therapists and programs based on their specific needs and availability. Most services are substantially subsidized, and some are fully covered.
This approach ensures that individuals and families experiencing acute distress or limited means receive timely, equitable access to therapy and assessment services while maintaining fairness and sustainability across all programs. Outcomes
While therapy cannot guarantee specific outcomes, we aim to help teens reduce presenting concerns such as anxiety and stress, build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships with family and peers, improve focus and sleep, and develop healthy coping strategies. We work collaboratively with each teen to support their personal growth, well-being, and sense of belonging.
